The standard method of billing in professional services has traditionally been charging an hourly rate for the services provided. However, as a consequence, the client will not know in advance how much the fees will be until the final bill is received on completion of the work. As an alternative, we are now offering our clients a fixed fee option. Under this option, we will agree with you the work to be carried out over the next 12 months and the fee will be fixed by a monthly direct debit. After speaking to clients, many have stated that they would rather pay a smaller regular monthly payment than paying the fees in a lump sum at the end of the work. The client will know in advance how much the job will cost and what services will be covered. If new work is required outside of the scope of the existing arrangement we will issue a written proposal for you to accept (or discuss) before we commence work on any new services.
This places the risk on us as the practice, you don’t have to worry about paying for more hours then you thought it may take to undertake the work. All of our fixed price agreements include support and regular review sessions. Moreover, we encourage regular communication between yourself and us.
